HEaling our heroes for a brighter tomorrow.
Empowering military veterans through holistic healing to foster resilience, promote healing, and instill purpose in those who have served our nation bravely.
OUR MISSION:
Our mission at the Lone Star Warrior Project 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is to empower military veterans and their spouses to overcome the debilitating effects of PTSD, depression, and anxiety through alternative medicine healing. We believe in providing access to holistic therapies that traditional health insurance often overlooks. By raising funds and sponsoring alternative medicine services, we aim to alleviate the financial burden on veterans and their families, enabling them to prioritize their well-being and contribute positively to their communities. Join us in supporting our heroes as they journey towards renewed health, strength, and resilience. Your donation can make a life-changing difference.
Texas, renowned for its patriotic spirit and home to one of the nation's largest veteran populations, faces a staggering reality:
It has the highest rate of veteran PTSD. Despite their noble service, many of these brave men and women find themselves grappling with the invisible wounds of war, while their health insurance often falls short, neglecting to cover alternative medicine crucial for their healing journey. But amidst this challenge emerges the Lone Star Warrior Project, a beacon of hope and transformation. Within this visionary initiative lies the promise of holistic healing therapies for veterans and their spouses. These services and programs are nestled within a compassionate sponsoring organization located in Austin, TX. Here, veterans are not burdened by financial constraints but are instead empowered to focus on their healing journey, reclaiming their lives and rediscovering hope.
Operation IRAQI FREEDOM (OIF) and Operation ENDURING FREEDOM (OEF): About 11-20 out of every 100 veterans (or between 11-20%) who served in OIF or OEF have PTSD in a given year.
